I introduce to you the Niagara-Style “Red Hot” Sausage on a Bun ! A delicious Lamb and Pork sausage on a fluffy White Sesame Bun, with a crunchy Corn and Swiss Chard relish and a dollop of Hot Pepper Jam. I am actually very proud of this creation, as I find it to be the perfect summer’s lunch… It’s absolutely lip-smacking, and the best part, is
that it’s a real tribute to Niagara’s bounty.
Seasonal. Local. Delicious. Every step of the way. All the ingredients used here are locally sourced from various places across Niagara. (Apart from the buns… but we made them ourselves, in our home in Niagara – so I guess we can consider them to be local as well, right?). Perhaps, they didn’t really mean to meet one another. But they did. And they worked magic together.
