					<description><![CDATA[Delicious!!! I made this for a meal at our church and everyone who got a piece raved about it. I was unsure about the parchment paper and piercing the bottom pastry dough but there were no issues. I followed the directions exactly and my pie looked just like the picture. I do have a convection oven and the pastry was cooked all the way through. I will be making this again soon.]]></description>

Sorry for the late reply, Carla! You can absolutely make it with just the top crust (it&#039;s a bit healthier that way, but a bit less decadent). But by all means, have at it with just the top and please enjoy! :)]]></description>
