Alison, I was so confused by your post. I went to look for myself and for some unknown reason, the original 9old cached) version of the recipe was showing on the website, where the error in sugar was made. It was fixed the same day over one year ago. I have no idea what happened, but I've rectified it.

Can you try refreshing and ensure it shows as 100g, as it should, for you now?

Thank you so very much for letting me know, I have no idea how that happened - but I do always suggest weighing ingredients, yes.

(note: the reason it said 50g originally, was I like to use less sugar in my recipes. But I'm aware the majority of people enjoy sweeter treats, so the sugar is often increased when I post a recipe. I personally use around 50g for myself). Enjoy!

1/2 cup of sugar vs 50g? 1/2 cup of sugar weighs close to 100g. I went by weight so we will see how they turn out. Do you recommend using the volume measurement instead?

Absolutely, Homa. I'd rough chop some almonds and add them in Step 2 (at the same point where you add the chopped chocolate). As for the quantity, I can't be 100% sure, but 1/4 cup would be a great starting point, in my opinion. Enjoy!
