Hello Erin! An 8 or 9 inch square baking dish should work perfectly (the smaller the dish, the "deeper" the pie). Please enjoy!

So glad you enjoyed it, Neil! The smell that comes off this really is something, isn't it? My suggested pairing would be a crisp green salad with mustard vinaigrette, if you're looking to go light. Green beans almondine, if you want something a little more satisfying. My husband loves a serving of fries alongside this dish, but that's a touch much for my liking.

So sorry to hear about the leftovers, Renee - but it means you absolutely nailed it! And it's just another excuse to make it again soon :) Compliments to the chef!

I made this for family who were visiting. Absolutely delicious and everyone went back for seconds. I was kind of hoping for leftovers but nearly all of it was gone. I really loved that I could assemble most of the pie ahead of time. I paired it with a green salad and it was the perfect meal for a cold rainy day. I couldn’t find lardons and used thick cut bacon instead. Will definitely make this again!

Leeks and pot pies just work so amazingly together, it's hard to explain - your daughter has exquisite taste :) Sounds like the recipe was a complete success, Beau - applause to the chef! So glad you enjoyed it.

I typically use a 9 or 10 inch baking dish for this Pot Pie, and it always works out wonderfully. Anywhere in that general range should work great!

My daughter says, "Any pot pies you make need to have leeks in them." This was delicious with rotisserie chicken, I used oregano instead of thyme (didn't have any) and it was excellent. Highly recommended.
