I just did some research online and unfortunately I can’t find anything on a “Le Grand Calvados, Jeanne” (so I am assuming this must have been a one-off, small batch or independently-owned production). Le Breuil en Auge, Calvados is definitely the same small town where the Chateau du Breuil is located. (is there a date on the bottle?). I hope you’ll find more info on the bottle one day 🙂

I wanted to see if you can help me identify a bottle of cidre that my grandparents left me years ago. It is unopened. The label reads “Le Grand Calvados” next line “Jeanne” next line “Distillation pur cidre” then “Le Breuil en Auge Calvados.” I can send a picture of the bottle. This has fascinated me for years.
